Here is another one of the crafts I enjoy -- crocheting -- ... finally finished a blanket for my Great-Niece ... started it on May 2nd ... finished on July 8th ... so I didn't work on it full-time ...

Fabulous Friday Night

My wonderful husband came home early so that we could go and spend a late afternoon and evening at Hollywood Bowl ...




We went to see ...


The orchestra was great as well! We had a great time and I fell asleep in the truck on the way home ... glad Dave didn't!!

What a weekend!

Dave and I accomplished so much this past weekend ... picked up the yard, edged & mowed all the lawns, cut out the hole in the ceiling over the fireplace for the projection screen, [Robin] painted the screen's housing white, [We] installed the screen, [Dave] fixed the leaking faucet to the washing machine ... [We] cooked a couple of meals ... washed 3 of four vehicles ... put on the backyard rain gutters ... [Dave] washed solar panels ... [Robin] washed floors, vacuumed, etc. ... wow! I'm tired just typing all that in ... I've been holding out on you as I have one more card CASE to share ... have a great night!


We did this card tonight in my 'Girls Night Out' stamping group ... we did a couple more ... a different colored version of the flip card ... I'll try to post it tomorrow ...

Two More CASED Projects

I usually gather intel and create my own card designs, but lately I have even CASED directly from Stampin' Up! Ugh ... Oh well, the creative juices will flow once again ... I must be missing my muse!

Busy week ... Got to visit with my niece, her husband and their new baby girl! What a sweetheart!

Hello again!

Boy have I been away for too long ... life happens when you're not paying attention! Where to begin ... our son moved out last September, I left Miller in late October for a Payroll Administrator position at Bentley Prince Street [closer to home, more $$$, etc.]. In December, Dave changed jobs ... he's still at TRL Systems, Inc., however, I was laid off in a RIF on February 6, 2009. I immediately went to my headhunter and found a second headhunter and was again gainfully employed as a temporary for Webb Schools -- a five week assignment. I left Webb on April 2, 2009, and was called back on April 17th . . . they knew we were going to vacation in St. Martin the first week of May and I was grateful! The assignment has now ended and I am looking for work once more.



I've been doing quite a bit of stamping and will share one of the pictures of a card I cased from Elizabeth Martinez . . . Hope you enjoy!
