Where Am I?!?

Why I'm on stage in Demo Duel!!!

Convention was great this year for me!! I got to walk with Elizabeth and her friend Amanda Coughlin for our 10 year anniversary!! We got to do some great make 'n takes at Wendy Randall's meeting on Wednesday night, as well as at Kathy Thorn's open house on Friday night! In addition, Stampin' Up! also had some great make-n-takes for us to make with our stamp sets & wheel. Carol & Elizabeth got up extra early to save us places for the Main Stage presentations! Thank you both!

On Friday morning, after arriving to the Main Stage Hall, I was just standing up waiting for the presentation to begin, when a gentleman pointed to me [I had to make sure he was pointing at me] ... and I found out he was from the You Crew ... I was so shocked that Carol answered the questions for me. I was asked if I would be available Saturday afternoon at 3:00 to be in the game show!! Whoo Hoo! and what a hoot! {I have to tell you a secret ... I have wanted to be on the game show since I saw the first one ... God does give us the desires of our hearts!}!

Although we went out in the first round, it was certainly fun! The first question was "What products are made of our paper?". The first answer for me was Designer Series Paper ... then I drew a blank the second time and we got our third strike when I answered chipboard because someone in the audience yelled it out and I wouldn't have had an answer at all if not for that one!

It was certainly fun and we did win a certificate for $50 in catalog merchandise wrapped up with the Trendy Trees stamp set [pg 112]!

Here are some pictures that my upline Kathy Thorn captured with her iPhone ... [Thank you Kathy!]

Robin Spinner is on my right, our captian, and Meg, is on my left [both have been recipients of the Rising Star awards -- Last year it was Robin and the year before it was Meg]. Both of these women are SuperStars! Meg also got 1st runner up this year for her cute commercial which featured her son attempting to put a Stampin' Scrub through the Big Shot! Very cute and creative!

Enjoy!
