Little Lady
A few weeks before I went off to Leadership, my BFF Francis Santos @ Soaping,
Stamping & Life.... sent me a cute Little Lady box ...
I didn't have a chance to play with it until I returned ... so, last Friday night for my monthly class, we made a modified version of Francis' Little Lady ...
I used the new Watercolor Wonder DSP [132994] and Daffodil Delight 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon [125583].
The measurements are as follows: Start with a 4-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of cardstock ... score on the long ends @ 1" and 3/4" [on the 1" side, score only the center tab just shy of 1/4"] ... turn on the short end and score every 3/4" ... so, @ 3/4", 1-1/2", 2-1/4" and 3" ... cut up to the 1" and 3/4" score lines on both ends ...
Next, cut out all four corners, and shorten the side tabs by 1/8" to make the box work better ... In addition, by cutting small triangles out of the sides of the long tab, your box will close easier. Add a piece of sticky strip on both sides of the same long tab to close your box ... and a small one to permanently close the bottom of your Little Lady box ...
Hope you've enjoyed today's post ... stay tuned ...
